Installation Guide for Golden Lighting 0511-LP Linear Suspension Light

This document provides essential installation instructions for the Golden Lighting 0511-LP linear suspension light. Installation must be performed by an accredited professional. Always turn off the power supply at the circuit breaker before starting.

Preparation for installation

Carefully unpack the fixture and the yellow bag containing all parts. Remove the old fixture and mounting strap from the wall. Ensure the mounting strap (B) is securely attached to the junction box using mounting screws (D). Adjust the mounting screws (A) so they protrude through the canopy (F) at the correct length.

Assembling the fixture

Determine the desired hanging height by measuring and selecting the appropriate number of rods (I). To shorten the fixture, slide excess rods off the wires; to lengthen, add more rods. Feed the fixture wires through the rods, swivel (H), and canopy (F). Secure the rods together and thread the top rod into the swivel (H) to attach the fixture to the canopy.

Connecting the wires

Have an assistant support the fixture's weight during wiring. Connect the fixture wires to the house supply wires using wire connectors, ensuring all twists are in the same direction:

• Hot: Transparent wire with black inner thread, black, or smooth wire.
• Neutral: Transparent wire with white inner thread, white, or ribbed wire.
• Ground: Transparent wire with green inner thread, green wire, or copper.

If no house ground wire is available, wrap the fixture ground wire around the ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket.

Finishing the installation

Push the canopy (F) against the ceiling and secure it with nuts (G). Attach the shades (L) to the sockets (K) using socket covers (M) and socket rings (N). Install the appropriate light bulbs (not provided), ensuring you do not exceed the maximum recommended wattage. Turn on the power to test the fixture.
