The Ground Zero GZCS 200.2VW-T5/T6 is a car-specific 2-way component loudspeaker system designed for VW T5 and T6 vehicles. Note: This system is not compatible with the VW T6.1 model. Professional installation is strongly recommended due to the requirement of removing door trims and drilling out original rivets.

Installation Notes

Replacing the original speakers requires specific technical steps:

  • Detach door trims and A-pillar panels (A-pillar panels for T6 only).
  • Drill out the original rivets of the midwoofer.
  • Fasten the new loudspeakers using the enclosed rivets and a rivet pliers (not included).
  • Warning: Never drill holes into the vehicle's gas tank, brake lines, or other critical vehicle parts.
  • Keep wiring away from antenna electronics and power cables to avoid radio interference.

Wiring and Crossover

The system includes a crossover with adjustable levels for the midrange and tweeter frequencies. Connect the OEM input to the crossover, then connect the midwoofer and tweeter outputs to the respective speakers. The level can be adjusted by selecting the required connector on the crossover unit.
