Product Description

The AXOR Carlton 17451XXX is a high-quality basin mixer designed for bathing, hygienic, and body cleansing purposes. It features a robust construction and is designed for long-term reliability in residential bathroom environments.

Safety Information

• Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
• The product must not be used as a holding handle; a separate handle must be installed if needed.
• Avoid contact of the shower spray with sensitive body parts (e.g., eyes). Maintain an adequate distance between the shower and the body.
• Large pressure differences between hot and cold water supplies must be balanced.

Installation and Operation

The fitting must be installed, flushed, and tested according to valid norms. The mesh washer included with the shower must be inserted to protect against incoming dirt from the pipework, as debris can damage functional parts and void the warranty. Do not use silicone containing acetic acid during installation.

Maintenance

Non-return valves must be checked regularly according to DIN EN 1717 and national or regional regulations (at least once a year). If the pull-out shower becomes difficult to operate over time, clean the Secuflex hose as described in the maintenance section.

Troubleshooting

If water flow is restricted or the pull-out mechanism becomes stiff, ensure the filter is clean and the hose is free of debris. Regular cleaning of the shower head and hose is recommended to maintain optimal performance.
