Product Overview

The Hansgrohe Axor Carlton series consists of high-quality mixers designed for bathroom use. These units are equipped with the EcoSmart technology, which limits water flow to conserve resources while maintaining performance.

Safety Information

• Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
• The product is intended solely for bathing, hygiene, and body cleansing purposes.
• Large pressure differences between hot and cold water supplies must be balanced.

• Recommended operating pressure: 0.1 – 0.5 MPa
• Test pressure: 1.6 MPa
• Hot water temperature: max. 80°C
• Recommended hot water temperature: 65°C
• Compatibility: Suitable for use with hydraulically and thermally controlled continuous flow heaters if the flow pressure is at least 0.15 MPa.

Installation and Operation

The mixer must be installed, flushed, and tested according to valid norms. If you experience issues with a continuous flow heater or desire a higher water flow, the EcoSmart flow limiter located behind the aerator can be removed. Do not use silicone containing acetic acid during installation.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The QuickClean function allows for easy removal of lime scale by simply rubbing the spray channels with your fingers. For detailed cleaning instructions, refer to the enclosed brochure. If necessary, use the special assembly tool (58085000) for maintenance tasks.

Troubleshooting

If the water flow is insufficient, check the EcoSmart flow limiter. Ensure that the hot and cold water supplies are properly balanced and that the installation follows the provided diagrams.
