The Kidzone 060-ROT-30 Unicorn Ride On is designed for children aged 18 to 36 months with a maximum weight capacity of 44 lbs (20 kg). Adult assembly and supervision are required at all times. The product should only be used on flat, smooth surfaces and never in the dark, near roadways, swimming pools, or steep inclines.
Assembly Instructions
Assembly must be performed by an adult. Ensure all small parts are kept away from children during this process.

- Step 1: Remove the saddle from the unicorn backend by unlocking it.
- Step 2: Connect the electrical connectors from the unicorn frontend to the backend. Slide the backend into the frontend, ensuring the wire cord is placed in the inner square hole and not pinched.
- Step 3: Align the bolt holes of the frontend and backend. Insert the connecting bolt, securing it with the washers and nut using the provided box wrench.
- Step 4: Attach the bolt cover and the tail to the unicorn.
- Step 5: Re-attach the saddle to the unicorn and lock it in place.
Note: The product is packed with the battery disconnected. Ensure the battery is connected before use.
Operation
The unicorn features simple controls for the child:

- Direction Switch: Select forward or rear direction. Do not change direction until the vehicle comes to a complete stop to avoid motor damage.
- Go Button: Press and hold the button to move the unicorn.
- Interactive Features: The unicorn responds with different sounds when fed (carrot toy), brushed (comb), or petted (touching the nose).
- Storage: The carrot toy and comb can be stored in the compartment inside the saddle.
Charging the Battery
The battery should only be charged by an adult. The vehicle must be turned OFF during charging.

- Connect the charger to the charging port on the vehicle, then plug it into a wall outlet.
- The indicator light on the charger will turn red while charging and green when complete.
- Charge for 8-12 hours after use. Do not charge for more than 20 hours to prevent overheating.
- Charge the battery at least once a month if the vehicle is not in use for a long period.
Care and Maintenance
- Regularly check for loose parts and re-tighten if necessary.
- Clean the vehicle with a cloth; do not use a hose or immerse in water.
- Use non-wax furniture polish for plastic parts.
- Store away from heat sources and cover with a tarp when not in use.
- Occasionally lubricate moving parts with lightweight oil.
Troubleshooting
If the vehicle does not move, check the battery connection, ensure the battery is charged, or wait for the fuse to reset (approx. 10 seconds). If the vehicle runs slowly, verify the user weight is under 44 lbs and that the battery is fully charged. For persistent issues like grinding sounds or failure to charge, contact customer service.
