Safety and Installation

• Protective Gear: Always wear protective eyewear when using tools to avoid injury from airborne debris.
• Installation Location: Ensure the chosen location does not interfere with the normal operation of the vehicle's mechanical or electrical systems.
• Wiring: Do not run cables outside the vehicle. When passing cables through the chassis, use rubber grommets to protect them. Ensure cables do not contact sharp edges or moving parts.
• Power: Use only cables with the proper section (AWG) as indicated for the power applied.
• System Shutdown: Turn off the head unit and all other audio system devices before starting the installation to avoid damage.

Enclosure Design

The manual provides ready-to-build enclosure designs for both Sealed and Reflex configurations. The Vb data represents the net volume, excluding the speaker, ports, and internal bracing.

• Sealed Enclosures: Provide optimally damped response for tight and accurate bass reproduction, offering high energy in the 20Hz-40Hz range.
• Reflex Enclosures: Best choice for high SPL bass where space is not a problem, concentrating energy in the 40Hz-80Hz range.

Wiring Connections

The manual includes detailed diagrams for connecting single or multiple subwoofers in series or parallel configurations to achieve the desired impedance. Always ensure connections are secure and use high-quality cables and connectors.

Grille Removal and Insertion

For MPS series subwoofers, the mesh grille can be removed or inserted by pressing. Use the included accessory tool and pay attention not to damage the surround during this process.

Technical Specifications

The manual contains comprehensive Thiele and Small parameters for all MP and MPS models, including D (diameter), Xmax, Re, Fs, Le, Vas, Mms, Cms, BL, Qts, Qes, Qms, and Spl. Note that these parameters are measured after the speaker has been conditioned by a specific signal.
