Mounting and Operation






- Wheel Guard: Fit and adjust the wheel guard before use.
- Side Handle: Fix the side handle securely to the tool.
- Wheel Assembly: Assemble the depressed center wheel or cutting wheel according to the specific model requirements (G10SQ2, G12SQ2, or G13SQ2).
- Switch Operation: Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting to power. Push the switch to turn ON.
- Grinding: Maintain a 15°–30° angle for effective grinding. Do not apply excessive pressure.
Maintenance and Inspection
- Depressed Center Wheel: Regularly inspect for cracks and surface defects.
- Mounting Screws: Periodically check that all mounting screws are tightened.
- Carbon Brushes: Inspection and replacement must be performed ONLY by a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
- Supply Cord: If replacement is necessary, it must be done by a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
- Motor Maintenance: Regularly blow dry air through the tail cover air hole while the motor is running without load to remove accumulated dust.

Common problems
Check if the switch is in the OFF position before connecting to power. Ensure the push button is disengaged by pressing it two or three times.
Check if the wheel is damaged, cracked, or improperly mounted. Run the tool at no-load for 30 seconds to check for defects.
