Mounting and Operation
Follow these steps for setup and operation:





- Wheel Guard: Fit and adjust the wheel guard (Fig. 2).
- Side Handle: Fix the side handle securely (Fig. 3).
- Assembling Wheels: Follow specific instructions for assembling the depressed center wheel (Fig. 4), cutting wheel (Fig. 5), or diamond wheel (Fig. 6).
- Switch Operation: Use the switch to turn the tool on and off (Fig. 7).
- Speed Adjustment: This model features an electronic variable speed drive. Use the dial (Fig. 8) to adjust the number of revolutions. Set the dial to 6 for full speed and 1 for the lowest speed.
Maintenance and Inspection
- Wheel Inspection: Regularly inspect the depressed center wheel for cracks and surface defects.
- Mounting Screws: Periodically check all mounting screws and ensure they are tight.
- Supply Cord: If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
- Motor Maintenance: Regularly blow dry air through the tail cover air hole while the motor is running without load to remove accumulated dust and dirt.
