Battery and Charging

Battery Removal/Installation: Hold the housing firmly and push the battery latches to remove or insert the battery (see Fig. 2).

Charging: Connect the charger to a power source. Insert the battery firmly into the charger (see Fig. 3). The charge indicator lamp will blink in blue while charging and light up in green when complete.

  • Nozzle Attachment: Mount the nozzle to the blast port for blowing, or to the suction port for dust collection (see Fig. 5). Turn until a click is heard.
  • Switch Operation: Use the switch to turn the tool on and off. The ON lock button can be used to lock the switch in the "ON" position (see Fig. 7).
  • Dust Collection: Mount the nozzle to the suction port and the dust bag to the blast port (see Fig. 6).

Maintenance and Inspection

Warning: Always turn off the switch and remove the battery before maintenance.

  • Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure they are tight.
  • Keep the motor winding clean and free from oil or water.
  • Inspect terminals (tool and battery) to ensure they are free of swarf and dust.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft dry cloth or a cloth moistened with soapy water.

Troubleshooting

If the tool does not operate normally, check the following:

  • Tool doesn't run: Charge the battery.
  • Tool suddenly stopped: The battery is overheated; let it cool down.
  • Poor suction: The dust bag is full, the nozzle is plugged, or the nozzle is damaged.
