Device description
The tool features a collet nut for bit retention, a depth guide for controlled cutting, a lock button for bit changes, and an integrated LED light for visibility. It is powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery.
First use and battery charging
Before using the tool, ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect the charger to a power source, insert the battery, and monitor the pilot lamp. A red light indicates charging is in progress; blinking indicates charging is complete or an error has occurred. Always charge at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C.
Operation
- Installing the bit: Use the provided wrench to loosen the collet nut, insert the bit, and securely tighten the nut.
- Adjusting depth: Adjust the depth guide so the bit protrudes at least 3 mm from the material.
- Switching on/off: The switch has an ON (I) and OFF (0) position. Ensure the switch is OFF before inserting the battery.
- Cutting: Always ensure the bit is not touching the workpiece before turning the tool on. Maintain a firm grip and follow the intended feed direction.
Safety and maintenance
The tool is equipped with overload and temperature protection. If the LED blinks, check the safeguard function table in the manual. Regularly inspect mounting screws, keep the motor winding clean, and ensure terminals are free of swarf and dust. Store the tool in a dry place below 40°C.

Common problems
Motor stops during operation
The tool may be overloaded or the battery overheated. Release the switch, remove the cause of overload, or allow the battery to cool down.
Battery does not charge
Check if the battery is overheated (allow to cool) or if there is a malfunction in the battery/charger (contact dealer).
LED light blinks
Check the safeguard function: Overload protection (remove cause) or Temperature protection (allow to cool).
Before use
- Ensure the work area is clean and free of buried objects like pipes or wires.
- Check the bit for cracks or damage.
- Ensure the collet nut is securely tightened.
- Verify the battery is fully charged.
- Ensure the depth guide is properly attached and adjusted.
