Device Description
The CV 18DA is a cordless multi-tool featuring a variable speed dial (1-6), an LED light for visibility, and a quick-release lever for changing accessories. It is designed for flush cutting, pocket cutting, peeling, and sanding.

Mounting and Operation


- Battery: Slide the battery into the tool until it clicks. Use the indicator switch to check remaining power.
- Accessories: Push the lever down to open the attachment ring, insert the desired blade or pad, and release the lever to lock it in place.
- Dust Collection: Attach the dust collection adapter (for use with specific models) to the tool.
- Operation: Use the switch to turn the tool on/off. The LED light activates automatically when the tool is on.
- Speed Adjustment: Use the dial to set the vibration frequency between 6000 and 20000 min-1 based on the material and task.
Maintenance and Inspection
- Tool Inspection: Regularly check the application tool for wear. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately to prevent motor overload.
- Screws: Periodically inspect all mounting screws and ensure they are tight.
- Motor: Keep the motor windings clean and free from oil or water.

Safety

Check if the battery is fully inserted. Ensure no foreign matter is on the terminals. If the pilot lamp still does not blink, the battery or charger may be faulty.
Follow the instructions in Fig. 5 to re-attach the application tool securely.
