  • Wheel Guard: Fit and adjust the guard using the lever and M5 bolt.
  • Side Handle: Fix the side handle securely to the tool body.
  • Assembling Wheels: Use the included wrench to tighten the wheel nut. Ensure the wheel washer is correctly positioned. Always press the push button to lock the spindle before tightening or loosening the nut.
  • Switch Operation: The switch is used to turn the tool on and off.
  • Grinding: Maintain a grinding angle of 15°–30° for optimal results.

Maintenance and Inspection

  • Regularly inspect the wheel for cracks or defects.
  • Check all mounting screws and tighten if loose.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear. If cleaning is necessary, disconnect the tool from the power source and use non-metallic objects.
  • After use, blow air from the tail cover air hole while the motor is running without load to remove accumulated dust.
  • Supply cord replacement must be performed by a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.

Notification Lamp

  • Red: Restart protection activated (switch off and on to reset).
