Intended Use

Operation

Battery Handling
- Use only Hilti Nuron B 22 series batteries.
- Charge the battery fully before first use.
- Insert the battery until it engages with an audible click.
- To check battery status, press the release button briefly.
Starting Lock
The tool features an optional starting lock. When activated, the control switch must be pressed twice to start the crimping operation. The factory default is deactivated.
Crimping Procedure
- Turn the crimping head to the desired position.
- Insert the connecting material into the open crimping head.
- Press and hold the control switch until the piston retracts.
- Remove the crimped material.
Maintenance and Care
- Keep the tool and battery clean and dry.
- Clean air vents with a dry, soft brush.
- Do not use silicone-based cleaning agents.
- Regularly inspect the crimping head coating for damage. If the red layer is visible, stop using the tool and contact Hilti Service.
Troubleshooting
If the tool malfunctions, check the battery status indicator. Common issues include low battery, overheating, or technical errors. If the issue persists, contact Hilti Service.
