Operation
Inserting and removing the battery: Push the battery into the tool until it engages with an audible click. To remove, press the battery release buttons and pull the battery out.



Cutting operation:
- Rotate the cutting head to the desired position.
- Place the cable into the cutting head, ensuring it is fully inserted.
- Press and hold the control switch until the cutting head releases pressure, indicated by an audible pop.
- The tool returns to its initial position automatically.
Changing cutting edges: Unscrew the securing screws, slide the old edges out, insert new ones, and tighten the screws.
Care and maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance. Clean the tool housing with a slightly damp cloth and ensure air vents are free of debris. Use a dry, soft brush to clean battery contacts. Do not use silicone-based cleaning agents.
Troubleshooting
If the tool fails to operate, check the battery charge status. If the red LED lights up continuously with a warning tone, a technical problem exists; contact Hilti Service. If the tool overheats, allow it to cool down before resuming operation.
