Quick Guide from the Manual

This document provides essential instructions for the installation of the Hinkley 23014BK wall mount fixture. Before beginning, ensure the power supply is turned off. The process involves mounting the fixture to a junction box, making electrical connections, installing the glass panels, and applying weatherproofing sealant for outdoor installations.

Assembly and Mounting

Follow these steps to mount the fixture body:

  • Find a clear area to work.
  • Remove the mounting plate (A) from the fixture backplate (B) by removing the head screws (C).
  • Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box.
  • Slide the wires from the junction box through the center hole of the mounting plate.
  • Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using two 8-32 screws (F). Ensure the plate is vertical.
  • Hook the safety cable to the backplate to support the fixture during wiring.
  • Once wiring is complete, secure the backplate (B) to the mounting bracket using the previously removed screws (C).
  • Additional support can be added by using screws (S) through keyhole slots (K) into wall anchors (W).

Wiring and Grounding

Safety Warning: Always turn off the power supply before installation. If new wiring is required, consult a qualified electrician.
