Safety
Most accidents are caused by failure to observe basic safety rules. Always assume the tool contains fasteners. Never point the tool at yourself or others. Keep fingers away from the trigger when not driving nails. Operate within the temperature range of 32°F (0°C) to 104°F (40°C).
Operation

Battery Installation and Charging
To install the battery, align it with the groove in the tool handle and slide it into place until it clicks. To remove, press the latch and pull it out. Charge the battery using the UC18YFSL charger. The pilot lamp indicates charging status: continuous red means charging, blinking red means charging complete or standby.
Loading Nails
- Remove the battery from the nailer.
- Press the stop lever and pull out the magazine cover.
- Insert nail strips into the magazine, ensuring tips are against the bottom of the groove.
- Push the magazine cover forward to close.
Adjusting Nailing Depth
The nailing depth can be adjusted by rotating the adjuster. Rotate toward the shallow mark for less depth or toward the deep mark for more depth. Each rotation modifies the depth by 0.75 mm.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Regularly clean the magazine and guide groove to prevent jams. If the nailer fails to fire, check the battery charge, ensure it is attached correctly, or check for jams. If nails are not fully driven, ensure the discharge outlet is pressed firmly against the workpiece.
