Safety instructions

• Personal Protective Equipment: Always wear approved eye protection, hearing protection, protective gloves, and heavy-duty slip-resistant boots.
• Operation: Use both hands when operating the hedge trimmer. Keep all body parts away from the cutter blade.
• Safety Distance: Ensure no people or animals are within 15 meters while working.
• Battery Safety: Use only Husqvarna BLi batteries. Keep away from metal objects, heat, and moisture.

Assembly

Connecting the battery charger: Connect the charger to a grounded socket. The LED will flash green once. The battery will not charge if its temperature exceeds 50°C (122°F).

Connecting the battery: Push the battery into the battery holder until you hear a click.

Operation

Starting the product: Press and hold the start/stop button until the green LED turns on. Press the power trigger lockout on the front handle, then press the power trigger on the rear handle to apply power.

SavE function: Press the SavE button to activate power saving mode. The green LED will turn on. This does not reduce cutting power.

Stopping the product: Release the triggers, press the start/stop button until the green LED goes off, and remove the battery.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is required to ensure safety and product longevity. Perform the following checks:

• Before use: Clean external parts, check that the start/stop switch works, verify power trigger and lockout function, ensure controls are undamaged, check cutter blade and guard for cracks, and ensure screws/nuts are tight.
• Weekly: Ensure screws holding the cutter blades are tightened.
• Monthly: Check connections between the battery and the product.

Cleaning and lubrication: Clean blades with an anti-corrosion agent before and after use. Lubricate blades before long periods of storage. Use only Husqvarna special grease for the gear housing.

Troubleshooting

If the error LED flashes, check the following:

• Overload: The cutting attachment cannot move freely. Release the cutting attachment.
• Temperature deviation: Let the product cool down.
• Product does not start: Push the power trigger and press the start button at the same time.

Transportation and storage

Remove the battery before storage or transportation. Use the transport guard on the cutter blade. Store in a dry, locked area away from children and static electricity. Charge the battery to 30%-50% before long-term storage.
