Fueling

Use a mixture of gasoline and two-cycle engine oil at a 50:1 (2%) ratio. Do not use gasoline with an octane rating lower than 90 RON (87 AKI) or more than 10% ethanol. Always mix in a clean container and do not prepare more than a 30-day supply.

Starting the engine

For a cold engine: Press the primer bulb 10 times, pull the choke control up, hold the product on the ground, and pull the starter rope until it starts. Once started, push the choke down and let the engine warm up for 60 seconds. For a warm engine: Press the primer bulb 10 times and pull the starter rope until it starts.

Maintenance

Follow the maintenance schedule provided in the manual. Weekly tasks include cleaning external surfaces and checking idle speed. Yearly tasks include checking the spark plug, cleaning the carburetor, and cleaning the cooling system. Adjust the idle speed using the T-screw so that the cutting attachment does not rotate at idle.

Safety

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and sturdy boots. Do not operate the product if you are fatigued or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Keep the product away from flammable materials and do not refuel while the engine is running.
