This manual provides essential instructions for the safe operation and maintenance of Husqvarna LC 151, LC 151S, LB 251S, and LB 256SP lawnmowers. Always read the safety instructions before use. Key tasks include checking the oil level, ensuring the blade is sharp and balanced, and verifying that all safety devices are functioning correctly.

Safety instructions
- Personal Protective Equipment: Wear hearing protection if noise levels exceed 85 dB, sturdy boots, and long trousers.
- Operation: Always stay behind the mower. Do not operate on slopes steeper than 15 degrees. Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts.
- Fuel Safety: Handle fuel outdoors. Do not refuel while the engine is running. Allow the engine to cool before refueling.
- Engine Exhaust: Do not operate in enclosed spaces due to carbon monoxide risk.
Assembly
Handle Assembly: Insert the screw (A) through the handle (B), plastic washer (C), and handle bracket (D). Tighten the nut (E). Secure the other side with screw (F), washer (G), and knob (H). Adjust the handle height using the knobs on the sides.

Grass Catcher: Attach the frame to the grass bag, ensuring the rigid part faces down. Secure the bag to the frame using the clips.
Operation
Starting the Engine: Ensure the spark plug cable is connected. Hold the engine brake handle against the handlebar. Pull the starter rope handle firmly.

Driving (LC 151S, LB 251S, LB 256SP): Engage the drive by pulling the drive handle/lever towards the handlebar. Release it to stop the drive.
Cutting Modes: The mower can be used for collecting (with grass catcher), mulching (using the mulch insert), or side discharge (using the side discharge deflector).
Maintenance
Maintenance Schedule: Perform general inspections, check oil levels, and clean the mower daily. Change the oil after the first 5 hours, then every 50 hours. Check the air filter and spark plug regularly.

Blade Maintenance: Always wear protective gloves when handling the blade. If the blade hits an obstacle, stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug, and inspect for damage. The blade must be balanced after sharpening.
Cleaning: Clean the underside of the cutting deck with a water hose. Do not use a high-pressure washer. Ensure the spark plug is facing upwards when tilting the mower to prevent engine damage.
Troubleshooting
If the engine fails to start, check if the spark plug cable is connected, the fuel tank is empty, or if the fuel is old. If the engine runs unevenly, check the air filter and fuel system for dirt.
Technical data
Refer to the technical data section for specific engine power, cutting width, and vibration levels for each model. Use SAE 30 oil and fuel with at least 90 RON octane rating.
