This manual provides essential information for operating and maintaining your Husqvarna LC 140P and LC 140SP rotary lawn mower. Always read the safety chapter before operating the product. Ensure the cutting equipment is correctly attached and adjusted, the fuel tank is filled, and the oil level is checked before starting.
Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your mower:

- Handle assembly: Attach the handle using the provided screws, washers, and knobs. Ensure cable tension is not too high.
- Handle height: Adjust the handle height by loosening the lower knobs and selecting one of the two available positions.
- Grass catcher: Assemble the upper and lower parts of the grass catcher, secure with clips, and attach to the chassis.
Operation
To start the engine, ensure the ignition cable is connected to the spark plug, hold the engine brake handle against the handlebar, and pull the starter rope handle. To stop the engine, release the engine brake handle. For the LC 140SP model, use the drive bail to engage the wheel drive.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance:

- General inspection: Check that all nuts and screws are tightened.
- Oil: Check oil level daily. Replace oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours.
- Cleaning: Clean the product externally and the inner surface of the cutting cover.
- Cutting equipment: Regularly examine the blade for damage or bluntness.
- Filters: Clean or replace the air filter as scheduled.
- Spark plug: Examine and clean or replace the spark plug if necessary.
Troubleshooting
If the engine does not start, check the ignition cable connection, fuel tank level, fuel quality, and the spark plug. If the engine runs unevenly, check the fuel line, fuel tank cap, air filter, and carburetor settings.
Safety
Always keep children and animals away from the work area. Do not operate the product on slopes steeper than 15°. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, sturdy boots, and long pants. Never start the engine in closed spaces due to carbon monoxide risk.
