This document provides installation instructions for the Leitner 00-GRLBA-1761 Scene Light Bracket designed for the Ineos Grenadier. The installation is rated as easy, requiring approximately 15-20 minutes. Crucial: Do not over-tighten bolts. All 8mm bolts must be torqued to 14ft-lb.

Hardware

Ensure you have the following components before starting:

M8 x 14 bolts (x2)
M8 lock nuts (x2)

Installation

Remove the existing M8 bolt from the roof mounting point using a T40 Torx wrench.
Install the bracket using the bolt removed in the previous step.
Install your light using the supplied M8 bolt and lock nut.

Use Guidelines

To ensure safety and longevity of the rack system:

Load Limits: Do not exceed 250 lbs off-road or 500 lbs on-road. Always adhere to the lower limit recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
Maintenance: Periodically inspect all knobs, bolts, screws, straps, and locks for wear, corrosion, or fatigue.
Driving Safety: High-speed off-road driving can damage the rack and vehicle body. Always obey speed limits and adapt to road conditions.
Security: Leitner Designs locks are designed to deter theft but are not theft-proof. Remove valuable gear if the vehicle is unattended.

Common problems

Damage to rack or vehicle body

Avoid high-speed off-road driving, especially with heavy loads, as this is not covered under warranty.

Bolt failure or stripping

Do not over-tighten bolts. Use a torque wrench to ensure 8mm bolts are set to 14ft-lb.

Lock malfunction

Periodically turn and move locks to ensure smooth operation. Use graphite or dry lubricant.

Before use

Verify you have a T40 Torx wrench.
Check that all bolts and locks are firmly attached and tightened.
Confirm the load does not exceed 250# (off-road) or 500# (on-road).
Ensure all long loads are tied down at the front and rear.
Keep at least one key in the glove compartment.
