This guide provides essential instructions for operating the MAUL 1623009.100-SW digital scale. Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, horizontal surface before use.
Battery installation
The scale uses two AAA batteries. The compartment is located on the underside. Ensure correct polarity and remove the isolation foil before the first use.
Weighing and Tare
Weighing: Press the ON/OFF button. Wait for the display to show zero before placing the item on the scale.
Tare function: Place an empty container on the scale and press the TARE button to reset the display to zero. Add the item to the container to see only the net weight.
User Calibration
If necessary, the scale can be recalibrated:
- With the scale off, press the ON/OFF button five times quickly and hold it.
- A numeric value appears. Press the ON/OFF button again.
- "ZEro" will appear, followed by "2000".
- Place a 2kg calibration weight on the scale.
- "PASS" will appear, followed by "2000". The scale is now calibrated.
Important: Do not expose the scale to vibrations or air currents during calibration.
Error codes and troubleshooting
- unSt: The scale is on an unstable surface.
- EEEE: Overload; the weight exceeds the maximum capacity.
- Lo: Batteries are exhausted and need replacement.
