Battery Installation

The scale uses a standard CR2032 battery. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the scale. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the battery and remove the plastic protection film before the first use.

Operation

Weighing

Press the ON/OFF/TARE button to switch the scale on. The display will show 8888. Wait until zero appears on the display before placing the item to be weighed on the scale.

Tare Function

To weigh items in a container, place the empty container on the scale and press the ON/OFF/TARE button to reset the display to zero. Then, add the item to the container. The display will show only the net weight of the added item.

Switching Off

Press and hold the ON/OFF/TARE button until the display disappears. The scale features an automatic switch-off function that activates after approximately 1 minute if no weight change is detected.

Unit Conversion

The scale can display weight in g, lb/oz, oz, or ml. With the scale switched on, press the Unit button to cycle through and select the desired unit of measurement.

Calibration

If necessary, the scale can be recalibrated by the user:

  1. Switch the scale on and set it to 'g'.
  2. Press the ON/OFF/TARE button rapidly four times and hold.
  3. A number will appear on the display. Press the ON/OFF/TARE button again.
  4. 'ZERO' will appear, followed by '5000'.
  5. Place a 5kg calibrated weight on the scale and press the ON/OFF/TARE button.
  6. The display will show 'CAL', then 'PASS', and finally '5000g'.

Important: Do not expose the scale to vibrations or drafts during the calibration process.

  • EEEE: Overload. The weight exceeds the maximum capacity of the scale. Remove the weight immediately.
