Getting started

The scale is powered by two AAA batteries. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the scale. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries and remove the insulation film before the first use.

Weighing

  1. Turn on the scale using the /TARE button.
  2. Wait until the display shows 0.
  3. Place the item on the scale and read the weight.

Tare function

To weigh items in a container:

  1. Place the empty container on the scale.
  2. Press the /TARE button to reset the display to zero.
  3. Fill the container. The display will show only the net weight of the added contents.

Switching units

With the scale turned on, press the UNIT button to cycle through available units: g, kg, oz, lb, ml, and milk-ml.

Switching off

Press and hold the /TARE button until the display turns off. The scale features an automatic switch-off function after approximately 3 minutes of inactivity.

User calibration

If necessary, the scale can be recalibrated. Ensure the scale is off and unloaded before starting.

  1. Press and hold the /TARE and UNIT buttons simultaneously.
  2. The display will show 8888, followed by a numerical value.
  3. Press the /TARE button again. The display will show 5000.
  4. Press the UNIT button. The display will show CAL, then 2000.
  5. Place a 2000g calibration weight on the scale. The display will show 5000.
  6. Place a 5000g calibration weight on the scale. The display will show PASS.

Important: During calibration, the scale must not be exposed to vibrations or air currents.

Troubleshooting

  • O_Ld: The weight on the scale exceeds the maximum capacity.
  • Lo: The batteries are exhausted and need to be replaced.
  • Inaccurate readings: Unusual electromagnetic influences (e.g., jammers in the immediate vicinity) may affect the display. The scale will function normally once the interference is removed.
