Quick guide from the manual
This manual covers the operation and safety of the Philips HD9350, HD9351, and HD9352 electric kettles. The primary function is heating and boiling water. Always use the kettle with its original base.
Safety Warnings
- Avoid spilling liquid on the connector.
- Do not use the kettle if the plug, mains cord, base, or kettle itself is damaged.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Do not place the appliance on an enclosed surface (e.g., a serving tray) to prevent water accumulation.
- The kettle shall not be used for cooking noodles because the oil can make the water level indicator crack.
Using the Kettle
Fill the kettle with water, ensuring you do not exceed the maximum level indication. If overfilled, boiling water may be ejected from the spout, causing scalding. Always lift the kettle by its handle and be aware of hot steam.
Boil-dry Protection
The kettle is equipped with boil-dry protection. It switches off automatically if accidentally turned on without enough water. Let the kettle cool down for 10 minutes before lifting it off the base to use it again.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Do not immerse the kettle or base in water or any other liquid. Clean only with a moist cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
