The RockBoard system is designed to provide a complete, professional solution for organizing and powering guitar effects pedals. The system includes pedalboards in various sizes, modular patchbays (MODs), secure mounting solutions (QuickMount and PedalSafe), isolated power supplies, and high-quality cabling. This guide helps you select the right components for your rig and understand their installation.
Pedalboard Series
RockBoard offers four main series of pedalboards, each built from a single sheet of cold-rolled aluminum with U-shaped support braces for rigidity and light weight. The slotted grid design allows for clean cable routing and flexible pedal placement.

- Duo Series: Compact boards for smaller rigs (e.g., Duo 2.0 to 2.3).
- Tres Series: Mid-sized boards (e.g., Tres 3.0 to 3.3).
- Quad Series: Larger boards for extensive setups (e.g., Quad 4.1 to 4.4).
- Cinque Series: Professional-grade boards for up to 30 pedals (e.g., Cinque 5.2 to 5.4).
Refer to the size comparison charts on page 6 to determine the capacity of each board based on pedal size.
Protection and Transport
Every RockBoard pedalboard is available with either a professional Gig Bag or a road-ready Flight Case.

- Gig Bags: Feature 10mm padding, water-resistant RokTex material, and a sturdy front pocket for accessories.
- Flight Cases: Feature 10mm thick plywood, dense EPS foam interior lining, and lockable snap locks for maximum protection.
Customization and Add-ons
You can customize your board with various add-ons:

- Drawer: Rotating mounting drawer for accessories (not compatible with Duo series).
- Slot Cover: Covers unused MOD slots for a tidy appearance.
- Handle Set: Ergonomic steel handles for easy transport.
- QuickMount Pedal Riser & Step Up: Elevates pedals in upper rows for better accessibility.
- Base Plates & Frames: Universal mounting solutions for power supplies and additional support.
Mounting Systems
RockBoard offers two primary systems to secure pedals without damaging them:

- QuickMount System: Replaces standard hook-and-loop tape. Screw the QuickMount plate onto your pedal's backplate and click it into the board's slot grid. Removal is easy with the QuickRelease Tool.
- PedalSafe: Transparent rubber covers that protect pedals from dirt, liquids, and accidental knob adjustments. These clamp onto mounting plates and are compatible with the QuickMount system.
Power Solutions
RockBoard provides a range of isolated power supplies to eliminate hum and noise:

- ISO Power Blocks: Available in various configurations (V6, V6+, V9, V10, V12, V16). These feature isolated transformers, short-circuit protection for each slot, and status LEDs.
- Power Adapters: Multi-regional adapters and specialized cables (Voltage Doubler, Current Doubler, Polarity Converter) are available to ensure compatibility with different pedal requirements.
Cables and Connectivity
The system includes specialized cables designed to minimize bulk and interference:
- Flat Patch Cables: Rectangular profile with super-flat angled plugs.
- Instrument Cables: High-end flat cables with gold-plated plugs.
- MIDI Cables: Flat MIDI cables and the adjustable FlaX Plug MIDI Cable.
- MODs: Modular patchbays that fit into the board's MOD slots, providing central access points for inputs, outputs, power, and wireless systems.
Accessories
Additional items to complete your setup include:
- LED Lights: Illuminates the board for stage visibility.
- Footswitch Toppers: Enlarges footswitches for easier access.
- LED Dampers: Reduces glare from bright pedal LEDs.
- Cable Management: Cable ties and holders for clean routing.
