The Rokinon SP 10mm F3.5 is a high-performance, super wide-angle lens designed for Canon and Nikon cameras. This manual provides essential safety, installation, and maintenance instructions. Safety Cautions

• Sunlight Warning: Never look directly at the sun through the lens, as it may cause permanent vision impairment.
• Mounting: Do not apply excessive force when attaching the lens. Ensure it clicks into place to prevent it from detaching.
• Environment: Protect the lens from water, high humidity, and extreme temperatures.
• Temperature Changes: Avoid drastic temperature changes to prevent condensation or mold. If moving from cold to warm, place the lens in a sealed bag until it reaches room temperature.
• Maintenance: Do not modify or attempt to repair the lens, as this will void the warranty.

Attaching and Detaching the Lens

Attaching:

1. Remove the rear lens cap and the camera body cap.
2. Align the red dot (Canon) or white focusing scale line (Nikon) on the lens with the index mark on the camera mount.
3. Insert the lens and rotate clockwise (Canon) or counterclockwise (Nikon) until it clicks and locks. Do not insert at an angle.

Detaching:

1. Attach the front lens cap.
2. Hold down the lens release button on the camera body.
3. Rotate the lens counterclockwise (Canon) or clockwise (Nikon) until it stops, then separate it from the body.

Focusing

Achieving optimum focus with an extreme wide-angle lens can be difficult with the unaided eye. Use the following methods:

• Manual Focus (MF): Set your camera to "MF" mode. Rotate the focusing ring until the focus confirmation indicator in the viewfinder lights up or the subject appears sharpest.
• Live View: Use the magnifying feature of "Live View" on your camera's LCD screen to adjust the focus ring until the image is sharpest.

Cleaning

Proper maintenance is crucial to prevent scratches and damage:

• Dusting: Use a lens blower or soft brush to remove grit before wiping.
• Wiping: Use a clean microfiber cloth and wipe in a circular motion from the center outwards.
• Stubborn Spots: Use one or two drops of ethanol or reputable lens cleaner on the cloth.
• Prohibited: Do not use organic solvents such as paint thinner, alcohol, or benzene.
