SAM is an interactive robotic friend designed for children aged 8 and up. This STEM-focused toy encourages building, coding, and play. The product is intended for indoor use only and must be assembled by an adult. Please read all instructions carefully before the first use to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Safety and Precautions

Safety is paramount when using this robotic toy. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Do not pick up the robot while it is in motion.
• Keep hands, hair, and clothing away from the tires and moving parts when the power switch is in the ON position.
• Avoid collisions with people, animals, or household furniture.
• The toy is not suitable for children under 3 years old due to small parts that pose a choking hazard.
• Use the product only in domestic areas such as the house or garden.

Battery Information

Proper battery management is essential for the longevity of the robot:

• The robot requires 4 x 1.5V AA/LR6 batteries (not included).
• Battery replacement must be performed by an adult.
• Always insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries (alkaline, standard, or rechargeable).
• Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period.
• Exhausted batteries should be removed from the toy immediately.

Care and Maintenance

To keep your robot in optimal condition, follow these maintenance tips:

• Wipe the toy gently with a clean, damp cloth.
• Keep the robot away from direct heat sources.
• Do not submerge the toy in water, as this will damage the electronic components.

• If the robot malfunctions due to electrostatic discharge, simply reset it by turning it off and on again.

Assembly Tips

The robot requires assembly before use. Cut plastic parts from the frame only when they are needed. Remove any burrs or sharp edges before assembling the pieces to ensure a smooth fit. Use a Philips screwdriver for assembly (not included).
