Quick Guide from the Manual

The Rusta Elements 2-Burner Gas BBQ is designed for outdoor use only. Before using the appliance, ensure it is assembled correctly, placed on a flat surface, and that a leak test has been performed on all gas connections. Always keep the BBQ away from flammable materials and ensure children and pets are kept at a safe distance during operation.

Safety Instructions

Important: Failure to follow these instructions may lead to serious personal injury or property damage.

• Use outdoors only.
• Do not move the appliance while in use or while hot.
• Only use liquefied petroleum gas (Butane/Propane). Do not use charcoal, briquettes, or other fuels.
• The gas cylinder must be kept away from heat sources and never placed directly under the BBQ.
• Always check for gas leaks before starting the BBQ.
• If a gas leak is detected, turn off the gas supply immediately.
• The hose must be a maximum of 1.5 m long. Replace worn or damaged hoses immediately.

Assembly

The assembly instructions are provided on pages 44-55. Ensure all parts are sorted before beginning. Tighten all screws only after all parts are completely mounted to ensure stability. If the grill is unstable, loosen the screws, adjust the connection legs, and re-tighten.

Lighting Instructions

1. Open the hood and ensure all burners are in the closed position.
2. Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder and open the cylinder valve.
3. Press down on the control knob and turn it counterclockwise to the MAX position to release gas and generate a spark.
4. If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the knob to the off position, close the gas cylinder valve, wait 3 minutes, and repeat the process.
5. Once lit, repeat the process for the second burner.
6. Adjust the heat by turning the knob between MAX and MIN.
7. To turn off, close the gas cylinder valve first, then turn the BBQ control knobs clockwise to the off position.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent grease fires and surface rust.

• Burners: Clean with a soft brush or compressed air. Ensure openings are clear using pipe cleaners.
• Grill Rack: Clean occasionally with mild soap and water. You can oil the rack before use to prevent sticking.
• Drip Tray: Clean regularly, preferably after each use, to prevent grease buildup.
• Stainless Steel: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Use a light polish like Autosol for surface rust. Protect with a thin layer of 5-56 or WD-40 (do not apply to food-contact surfaces).

Technical Data

The BBQ has a total power output of 5.5 kW (400 g/h). It is compatible with Butane, Propane, or their mixtures. The gas pressure required is 30 mbar for Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and 50 mbar for Germany. The main injector size is 0.84mm for Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and 0.73mm for Germany. The unit features a single piezo ignition system and weighs 10.4 kg, with dimensions of 97x52x100 cm (WxDxH).
