The Coleman 9922 Series Propane Grill Stove is designed for outdoor use only. It operates on 16.4 oz. disposable propane cylinders. This guide covers essential assembly, operation, and safety procedures. Always perform a leak check before the first use and keep the stove away from combustible materials.

Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your stove:

• Feet: Attach each foot to the stove using one screw.
• Windbaffles: Assemble the windbaffles to the lid.
• Drip Tray: Install the drip tray below the right side of the stove.
• Pot Support: Install the pot support as shown in the manual.
• Grill Grate: Install the grill grate with the raised edge facing the back.
• Regulator: Screw the regulator into the stove hand-tight.
• Propane Cylinder: Remove the plastic cap from the propane bottle and screw it into the regulator hand-tight.

Operation

Leak Check

Perform a leak check outdoors before using the stove. Extinguish all flames and do not smoke. Apply soapy water to all connections and fittings. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Do not use the stove until the leak is fixed.

Lighting

Standard Ignition: Hold a lighted match near the burner and open the burner valve.

InstaStart Electronic Ignition: Open the burner valve and push the igniter button repeatedly until the burner lights. If the igniter fails, use a match.

Adjusting Flame

Adjust the flame using the burner valve. The flame should be blue with a hint of yellow on the tips. Some yellow tips are acceptable as long as no soot or carbon deposits appear.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Ensure the stove is cool before cleaning.
• Move the stove away from flames and ignition sources.
• Remove the propane cylinder and replace the protective cap.
• Remove the regulator from the stove.
• Wipe the stove clean with a soft cloth and mild dish detergent. Do not use abrasives.
• The grill and drip tray are dishwasher safe.

Storage

For storage or transport, the drip tray and regulator may be stored below the grill. Always disconnect the propane cylinder when the stove is in storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.

Safety Warnings

• Carbon Monoxide Hazard: This stove is a combustion appliance and produces carbon monoxide. Never use it in enclosed spaces like tents, campers, cars, or homes.
• Fire/Explosion Hazard: Never store propane near high heat, open flames, or where temperatures exceed 120°F (49°C). Keep combustibles at least 12 inches from the sides and 48 inches from the top of the stove.
• Outdoor Use Only: Never use this appliance indoors or in unventilated areas.
