The Sanela SLS 02PTAB is a piezo-controlled shower system with a thermostatic mixer. This document covers the installation, operation, and parameter adjustment of the device. Key requirements include a water pressure of 0.1 - 0.6 MPa and a sieve mesh size of ≤ 90 µm. The system is powered by batteries.
Installation
Before installation, ensure you have read the attached safety instructions. The installation process involves:
- Preparing the wall recess (0-6 mm depth for tiling).
- Connecting hot and cold water supplies to the G 1/2" inlets.
- Mounting the control box using the provided brackets and screws.
- Installing the batteries (4x AA 1.5V) into the battery pack.
- Connecting the piezo button cable to the solenoid valve.
- Final assembly of the cover plate and thermostatic handle.
Operation and Settings
The system is operated via a piezo button. Parameters can be adjusted using the SLD 04 remote control (optional accessory). Default factory settings include:
- Automatic stop: 120 seconds.
- Hygienic flush interval: OFF.
- Hygienic flush duration: 5 seconds.
The SLD 04 remote allows for adjusting the automatic stop time (10-310s), hygienic flush interval (OFF/6/8/12/24/48/72/168h), and flush duration (5-1200s).
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is recommended. To shut off water for maintenance, use the integrated shut-off valves. Battery status is indicated by the electronic system; if the system indicates low capacity, replace the batteries immediately. For technical support, visit www.sanela.eu/service.

Common problems
Low battery indication
Replace all 4 AA alkaline batteries when the system indicates necessary battery exchange.
Water flow issues
Check if the water pressure is within the 0.1 - 0.6 MPa range and ensure the sieve is clean (mesh size ≤ 90 µm).

- Verify water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Ensure the sieve mesh size is ≤ 90 µm.
- Install 4 fresh AA 1.5V alkaline batteries.
