The Scangrip VEGA 2 CONNECT is a versatile work light designed for professional use. It is compatible with 18V Metabo CAS batteries and can be used with various other 18V/20V battery packs when using the appropriate SCANGRIP CONNECTOR. Alternatively, it can be powered directly via a dedicated power supply.
Battery and Power Compatibility
The lamp supports multiple power sources:
- Metabo CAS Batteries: Designed for direct use with 18V Metabo CAS battery systems.
- Third-Party Batteries: Compatible with 18V/20V batteries from various manufacturers (e.g., Bosch, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee) by attaching the specific SCANGRIP CONNECTOR for that brand.
- Power Supply: A dedicated Scangrip power supply can be used as an alternative to battery power.
IP Ratings and Usage
The ingress protection (IP) rating of the lamp changes based on the power source used:
- IP54: Achieved when using the Scangrip power supply.
- IP30: Applies when using a battery pack.
Safety and Maintenance
- Do not look directly into the light beam to avoid dazzling.
