The Sealey TC904 is a 19-liter bead seating tool designed to force tubeless tyre beads against the rim for inflation. It is suitable for cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, and ATV tyres. Always wear safety glasses, ear defenders, protective gloves, and clothing during operation.

Safety

  • Ensure the tool is in good condition before use.
  • Always vent pressure before performing maintenance.
  • Do not discharge the nozzle unless it is positioned on the wheel rim.
  • Never direct compressed air towards people or animals.
  • The tool is a pressure vessel: do not tamper with the safety valve, do not modify the unit, and do not subject it to impact, vibration, or heat.
  • Drain condensation daily and inspect internal walls for corrosion every three months.

Charging

  1. Connect an air line to the 1/4" BSP female air inlet.
  2. Open the air line and the inlet fitting cock.
  3. Fill the reservoir to the required pressure (150psi maximum).
  4. Close the inlet connector cock, close the air line, and disconnect.

Operation

Horizontal Position

  1. Adjust the barrel so the flange is on top.
  2. Lubricate tyre beads and position the wheel on a stand with the valve stem pointing upwards.
  3. Attach an air line to the valve stem to assist inflation.
  4. Rest the barrel flange on the rim opposite the valve stem.
  5. Remove the safety key from behind the trigger.
  6. Position the tool at a 50 to 70-degree angle, pointing into the largest gap between the tyre and wheel.
  7. Hold securely and press the trigger to release air.

Upright Position (Truck Tyres Only)

  1. Adjust the barrel so the flange is on the bottom.
  2. Position the wheel against a solid prop with the valve stem at the bottom facing you.
  3. Attach an air line to the valve stem.
  4. Position the tool at a 50 to 70-degree angle, pointing into the largest gap.
  5. Remove the safety key and press the trigger to release air.
