Before using your Segway Ninebot eKickScooter, you must install the Segway-Ninebot app, activate your scooter, and obtain the latest updates and safety instructions. The scooter features a simple interface controlled by a single power button.

Dashboard and Power Button
The dashboard displays your current speed, battery level, and status icons. Use the power button for the following operations:

- Power On: Press the button.
- Power Off: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
- Headlight: When the scooter is on, press the button once to turn the headlight on or off.
- Speed Modes: When the scooter is on, double-click the button to switch between speed modes.
Status Icons:
- Error Notification: Indicates the scooter has detected an error.
- Bluetooth: Indicates successful connection to a mobile device.
- Temperature Warning: Indicates the battery temperature is too high (55°C/131°F) or too low (0°C/32°F). Do not use the scooter until the temperature returns to the normal range.
- Locking Reminder: If this icon lights up, the scooter is locked. If abnormal movement is detected, the scooter will beep and the tail light will flash.
- Battery Power: Represented by 5 bars. If the first bar is red, the battery is very low; charge immediately.

The C2 and C2 Pro models have different performance characteristics:
- Max Speed: Approx. 16 km/h (9.9 mph) for C2; Approx. 20 km/h (12.4 mph) for C2 Pro.

Safety and Certifications
This product is certified to ANSI/CAN/UL-2272. The battery complies with UN/DOT 38.3 and ANSI/CAN/UL-2271. The device complies with FCC and Industry Canada regulations regarding radio frequency interference. Ensure a minimum distance of 5mm between the radiator and your body during operation.

Practical help
Common problems
The scooter is in locked mode. Check the Segway-Ninebot app to unlock it.
Battery temperature is outside the safe operating range (below 0°C or above 55°C). Do not use or charge until the temperature normalizes.
If the first battery bar is red, the power is very low. Charge the scooter immediately.
Before use
- Install the Segway-Ninebot app.
- Activate the scooter via the app.
- Check that the battery is charged (5 bars).
- Ensure the folding mechanism is secure.
- Verify the tire condition.
