How to use
To turn on the thermometer, press the power button. The display will briefly show all elements and the last measured value (indicated by 'M'). Once the display shows 'Lo' and the measurement symbol flashes, the device is ready for use.
Measurement methods
- Oral: Place the tip under the tongue, close the mouth, and breathe regularly through the nose. Keep the thermometer in the same position.
- Rectal: This is the most accurate method. Carefully insert the tip into the rectum to a maximum depth of 1.5 cm.
- Axillary: Place the tip in the deepest part of the armpit and press the arm firmly against the body.
The measurement takes approximately 30 to 60 seconds. The device will emit a sound signal when the measurement is complete. The thermometer turns off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Battery replacement
When the battery symbol appears on the display, the battery is low and needs replacement. Use a micro-alkaline battery type LR41 (1.55V). Unscrew the battery compartment cover, replace the battery ensuring the '+' sign faces downwards, and secure the cover with the screw.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the thermometer before and after each use using a soft cloth moistened with a disinfectant (e.g., 70% ethanol). Do not sterilize by boiling. Do not use thinners or chemical solvents for cleaning.
