Before using your Sencor electric kettle for the first time, it is essential to boil fresh water in it 2-3 times and discard it to remove any manufacturing residues. Always ensure the kettle is placed on a stable, dry surface and that the water level is between the MIN and MAX markings.

• A7: On/Off switch

Operation

To use the kettle:

1. Fill the kettle with water (do not fill while on the base).
2. Ensure the lid is securely closed.
3. Place the kettle on the base and connect to a power outlet.
4. Press the switch (A7) to turn the kettle on.
5. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water boils.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular maintenance is required to ensure the longevity of your appliance.

• General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the kettle or base in water.
• Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descale regularly.
• Using Vinegar: Fill with a 1:1 solution of water and 8% white vinegar. Boil, let sit for 2 hours, then boil fresh water 4-5 times.
• Using Citric Acid: Boil 1L of water, add 30g of citric acid, let sit for 30 minutes, then boil fresh water 4-5 times.

Safety Instructions

• Keep the appliance and power cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
• Do not open the lid while water is boiling.
• Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
• Do not operate the kettle when empty.
• Always disconnect from the power outlet when not in use or before cleaning.
