The Sencor SSI 0870GD is a portable garment steamer designed for smoothing clothes, curtains, and upholstery. Important: Use only distilled or demineralized water. Do not use tap water, additives, or descaling agents. Always check the garment care label before steaming to ensure the fabric is suitable for steam treatment.

The device consists of the following main components:

- Power button: Turns the device on/off.
- Water tank: Removable tank for water.

Filling the water tank

- Ensure the steamer is turned off and unplugged.
- Push the water tank down towards the unlock symbol.
- Rotate the tank so the filling hole faces upwards.
- Remove the cap and fill with distilled or demineralized water up to the MAX mark.
- Close the cap securely and slide the tank back into position along the handle.
Using the steamer
- Hang the garment on a hanger.
- Plug the power cord into an outlet.
- Press the power button to turn the device on.
- Wait for the indicator light to turn off, which signals the device is heated and ready.
- Place the steam head against the fabric and press the steam release button.
- Move the steamer vertically from top to bottom.
- If you need to pause, release the steam button and place the steamer on the thermal insulation pad.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Always unplug the device and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
- Empty the water tank after each use and leave the cap open to dry.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp sponge and dry with a clean cloth.

The water tank is likely empty. Turn off the device, let it cool, and refill the tank according to the instructions.
