The Sencor SSI 0880BZ is a portable garment iron designed for household use. Before using the device, ensure the voltage matches your local power supply. Always keep the iron and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years old. The iron features an automatic shut-off function if left stationary for approximately 5 minutes. Warning: The soleplate and steam are very hot; handle with care to avoid burns. Never leave the iron unattended while connected to power.

Preparation for use
Before the first use, remove all packaging and promotional labels. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. To fill the water tank:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged.
- Open the water tank cap and tilt the iron slightly.
- Use the measuring cup to fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water up to the MAX mark.
- Close the cap until it clicks.
Note: Do not add vinegar, descaling agents, or perfumes to the water tank.
Operating the iron
- Place the iron on a stable surface. Attach the brush if ironing delicate fabrics.
- Connect the power cord to a grounded socket. The power light will turn on.
- Press the SET button briefly to start heating. The display will show a countdown (approx. 20 seconds).
- Once the display shows 0 and the steam symbol appears, the iron is ready.
- Press the SET button again to select the mode: 0 (no steam), 1 (min steam), or 2 (max steam).
- For maximum steam, press and hold the steam pulse button. For constant steam, slide the button lock down.
- After use, press and hold the SET button until the display turns off, then unplug the device.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the iron and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Empty the water tank after every use. To descale the iron, use a solution of white vinegar and water in a 1:3 ratio. Pour the solution into the tank, let it sit, then rinse with clean water. Wipe the exterior and soleplate with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
