The SKC Standard Single Charger is designed to provide a fixed 16-hour constant current charge for SKC NiCd and NiMH battery packs. Once the 16-hour cycle is complete, the charger automatically switches to a trickle charging rate to prevent overcharging. The unit is supplied with four interchangeable electrical supply input plugs for international use.
Charger models and compatibility
This manual covers the following charger models, each designed for specific SKC pump series:

- 223-203A: For Sidekick EX/TX/MTX/MI/MMI series, Universal EX/TX/MTX/MA/AZ/MAZ series, and AirChek 52 pumps.
- 223-223A: For 222 series pumps.
- 223-227A: For Universal XR series pumps.
- 223-239A: For AirChek 2000 pumps.
- 223-260A: For AirChek 3000 pumps.

Safety warnings

Charger operation
- Select the appropriate regional plug adapter and attach it to the power supply unit.
- Plug the power supply into an electrical socket and switch on the power. Note: The LED indicator will not illuminate at this stage.
- Connect the charger output to the battery pack. The LED will illuminate continuously to indicate full-rate charging.
- After 16 hours, the charger switches to trickle charge, and the LED will flash.
- It is recommended to disconnect the charger from the battery pack after 24 hours to maintain battery health.
- Disconnect from the electrical supply when not in use to save energy.
Disposal and recycling
This product falls under WEEE regulations and must be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. SKC battery packs are subject to special treatment regarding mercury, cadmium, and lead content. Contact your local distributor or SKC Ltd for compliance details.
