Quick guide from the manual
The Somogyi DB 1090DC is a wireless doorbell system featuring 36 melodies and an operating range of approximately 100 meters in open terrain. The system supports up to 8 push-buttons simultaneously. Key operations include removing the battery insulation strip before first use, inserting 3 AA batteries into the receiver, and pairing the transmitter button within 30 seconds of powering the receiver.
Product description
The set consists of a receiver (bell) and a transmitter (push-button). The receiver operates on 3 x 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries, while the push-button uses a CR2032 3V button battery. The system uses a 433.92 MHz frequency with a learning function to prevent interference from other nearby bells.

Installation
The push-button is supplied with a CR2032 battery. Before use, remove the insulation board from the battery compartment. Install 3 x 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries into the bell, ensuring the polarity is correct. The bell should be placed indoors, protected from dust, humidity, liquids, heat, and direct sunlight. Avoid placing the push-button on metal or UPVC door frames, as this may reduce the operating range.
Pairing
After powering the bell, it will emit a sound, indicating it is ready to receive the push-button signal. Press the push-button once within 30 seconds to create a new operating code. The bell will sound to confirm the code is captured. To pair additional buttons, remove the bell batteries, reinsert them, and repeat the process for the next button. Up to 8 buttons can be paired to a single bell.
Battery replacement
To replace the battery in the push-button, open the battery compartment lid on the backside. When replacing the battery, the bell will emit a sound and return to learning mode. If you do not wish to add more buttons, press one of the buttons already paired to close the learning mode. Ensure correct polarity when replacing batteries in both the bell and the push-button.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the appliance at least once a month, depending on the degree of contamination. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or liquids. If the bell rings randomly, it may be caused by nearby electrical equipment. In this case, delete the codes by removing the batteries for 10 seconds and re-pair the units.
Safety warnings
This product contains a button cell battery. Do not swallow the battery due to the risk of chemical burns, which can occur within 2 hours and lead to death. Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children. If the battery compartment cannot close properly, stop using the product. Do not expose batteries to direct thermal radiation or sunshine, and do not attempt to recharge, burn, or short-circuit them.
