Before using the Somogyi DHM 10LR, please note the following critical requirements:

- Rest Period: Place the device in an upright position for at least 24 hours before first use to prevent damage.
- Room Size: The device must only be used and stored in rooms larger than 4 m².
- Refrigerant: This unit contains R290 refrigerant. Do not puncture or burn the device.
- Safety: Do not use in bathrooms, near showers, pools, or saunas. Ensure the device is used on a flat, hard surface.

Installation and Setup

- Drainage: For continuous drainage, you may attach the included drainage pipe. Remove the rubber plug from the back of the unit to connect the pipe. Ensure the pipe is not kinked and water can flow freely.
Operation
The device features several modes to manage humidity:
- Dehumidify: Set desired humidity between 30% and 80% in 5% increments.
- Automatic: The device aims for a factory-set humidity of 55%.
- Continuous: The compressor runs continuously; humidity and fan speed cannot be adjusted.
- Fast Dry Clothes: Runs at maximum fan speed for rapid dehumidification.
- Fan: Only the fan operates; speed is adjustable.
Additional Features:
- Timer: Set automatic shutdown between 1 and 24 hours.
- Child Lock: Activate/deactivate by pressing the up and down arrows simultaneously.
- LED Indicators: Red (high humidity), Green (ideal humidity), Blue (too dry).
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance:
- Cleaning: Clean the device at least once a month. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Filter: Clean the air inlet and outlet using a vacuum cleaner and brush. The filter can be removed and washed with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals.
- Water Tank: Empty the tank when full. The device will stop automatically and the 'Tank Full' indicator will light up.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, check the following:
- Fan runs but compressor does not: Check the operating mode and humidity settings.
- Device stops: Empty the water tank, ensure it is correctly seated, or check if the timer has turned it off.
- Excessive noise: Clean the air filter.
- Not removing moisture: Clean the air filter and ensure air inlets/outlets are not blocked.
