Wiring Instructions

The device supports two main wiring configurations:

  • Light fixture wiring: Connect the neutral (N) and live (L) wires from the power source to the input terminals, and connect the lights to the output terminals (L Out1, L Out2).

App Setup and Pairing

To control the device, you must use the eWeLink app.

Quick Pairing Mode

  1. Download the eWeLink app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Power on the device. It will enter Quick Pairing mode (Touch) by default during the first use.
  3. The Wi-Fi LED indicator will flash in a cycle of two short and one long flash.
  4. Tap "+" in the app and select "Quick Pairing", then follow the on-screen prompts.

Compatible Pairing Mode

If Quick Pairing fails, use the Compatible Pairing Mode:

  1. Long press the pairing button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED flashes in a cycle of two short and one long flash, then release.
  2. Long press the button again for 5 seconds until the LED flashes quickly.
  3. In the app, select "Compatible Pairing Mode".
  4. Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi hotspot named "ITEAD-******" with the password "12345678", then return to the app to complete the process.

Troubleshooting

If the device stays "Offline":

  • Wait 1-2 minutes for the device to connect.
  • If it remains offline, check the Wi-Fi password, distance to the router, and ensure you are using a 2.4GHz network (5GHz is not supported).
  • Check if MAC address filtering is enabled on your router and disable it if necessary.
  • If the issue persists, try creating a Wi-Fi hotspot with your mobile phone to test the connection.
