Precautions
- Medical Devices: Keep magnets away from pacemakers, programmable shunt valves, or other medical devices.

- Amplifier Caution: If using a BTL (balanced transformerless) amplifier, connect speaker cords directly to the amplifier outputs. Do not use existing common-ground wiring, as this may damage the amplifier.
- Power Limits: Do not continuously operate the speakers beyond their peak power handling capacity.
Mounting
Before Mounting:
- Ensure a minimum mounting depth of 71 mm (2 7/8 in).
- Check that the speaker does not obstruct car components like window mechanisms, door handles, armrests, or seat belts.
- If mounting in a door, you may need to modify the inner panel.
Installation Steps:
- Remove the inside door panel or prepare the rear tray area.
- Decide the mounting method based on your vehicle type.
- Mark the 4 bolt holes and drill them with a 3.2 mm (1/8 in) diameter bit.
- Secure the speaker using the provided hardware.
Wiring Connections
Follow the standard connection diagrams provided in the manual. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are connected correctly to your car audio system or power amplifier. When releasing cables, press the catch firmly and release carefully to avoid damaging the terminals.
Tweeter Sound Adjustment
You can adjust the tweeter sound pressure level on the passive crossover network:
- 0 dB: Standard setting.
- +3 dB: Increased sound pressure setting.
Use the switch on the crossover unit to select your preferred level.
