This document provides assembly and maintenance instructions for the Style Selections 21-Inch Closed Shoe Cabinet (Model LOWECABWH-05). The unit is designed for indoor storage and features a cam lock assembly system. Please read all safety information before beginning assembly. The estimated assembly time is 50 minutes.

Safety Information

• Do not allow children to climb or play in or around this product.
• Use this unit for its intended purpose only. Do not use shelves as a step ladder.
• Assemble the product on a sturdy, level, and protective surface to avoid damage.
• Ensure all bolts and screws are tightly fastened before use.
• Periodically check and tighten bolts/screws if necessary.
• Maximum Load: 30 lbs (13.6 kg). Do not overload the unit.

Cam Lock System Operation

The assembly relies on a cam lock system. Follow these steps for each connection:

1. Screw cam bolts into the predrilled small holes on the panel.
2. Insert the cam lock into the predrilled large hole on the panel.
3. Ensure the arrow on the cam lock points toward the cam bolts.
4. Connect the panels, ensuring the cam bolts enter the predrilled hole on the end of the panel with the cam lock.
5. Once connected, use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the cam lock clockwise.

Assembly Instructions

Before beginning, ensure all parts are present by comparing them with the package contents list. Tools required (not included): Phillips screwdriver, power drill, 5/16 in. and 3/32 in. drill bits, level, stud finder, marking pencil, tape measure, step ladder, and rubber mallet.

Wall Mounting

The unit must be secured to the wall:

• Use a stud finder to locate wood studs and draw a vertical reference line.
• Use the metal bracket (E) as a template to mark three holes (minimum 39-1/2 in. from the floor).
• Drill pilot holes: 3/32 in. for wooden studs and 5/16 in. for other markings.
• Insert drywall anchor (MM) into 5/16 in. holes and screw until flush.
• Attach the metal bracket (E) to the wall using M5 x 55 mm screws (DD).
• Hang the unit onto the metal bracket with the help of another person.

Stacking Units

This cabinet is designed to allow stacking two units. Attach the top panel of one unit to the bottom panel of the other using the 1/4 in. x 38 mm bolts (NN) and tighten with the hex wrench (OO).

Care and Maintenance

• Dust using a soft, clean cloth.
• Never use water to clean the furniture as it may damage the finish.
• Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner, then dry immediately.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Maintain in a climate-controlled environment to prevent fading, warping, or splitting.
