The Sunco 6" Slim Selectable White LED Light is a dimmable downlight featuring adjustable color temperature (CCT). Before installation, use the slider switch located on the back of the included junction box (j-box) to select your preferred color temperature: 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6000K. The unit is IC rated and installs using spring-loaded brackets.
Installation and Operation
The light is designed for indoor use. Ensure the power is off before beginning installation. The fixture uses spring-loaded brackets for a fast, tool-free installation into the ceiling cutout. Ensure the junction box is properly connected to the light fixture before securing it in place.
Dimmer Compatibility
For optimal performance, it is highly recommended to use an ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) dimmer compatible with LED lights. If you experience buzzing or flickering, it is typically an indication that the dimmer and lights are not compatible. Consult the dimmer manufacturer for maximum wattage capacity.
Troubleshooting
If you experience "pop-on" behavior, where the lights cannot be turned on immediately to their minimum level, follow this procedure: first, raise the slider switch above the minimum level to turn the lights on, then dim to a lower light level as needed.

Common problems
Flickering or buzzing
This indicates the dimmer is not compatible with the LED light. Ensure you are using an ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) dimmer.
Pop-on behavior (lights won't turn on at minimum level)
Raise the dimmer slider switch above the minimum level to turn the lights on, then dim to the desired lower level.
Before use
- Verify the supply voltage is 120V.
- Select the desired color temperature (2700K-6000K) using the slider on the back of the j-box.
- Ensure the dimmer switch is compatible with LED lighting.
- Confirm the installation location is indoors.
