This manual provides instructions for the assembly and maintenance of the Sunjoy 12x10 Hardtop Gazebo. The product is intended for decorative and sunshade purposes only and is not designed to withstand harsh weather conditions such as high winds, heavy rain, or snow. Assembly requires at least 4 adults.

Safety Warnings

• Adult Assembly Only: Assembly and maintenance must be performed by adults. We recommend at least 4 people.
• Surface Requirements: Install on level ground. Do not assemble on sandy, muddy, or loose soil as stakes will not provide adequate anchorage.
• Anchoring: Use appropriate anchors (not included) if securing to a wood deck or concrete surface.
• Snow Removal: Remove snow from the roof when it exceeds 2 inches in thickness using a plastic snow rake to prevent damage.
• Protective Gear: Some parts may have sharp edges; wearing protective gloves is advised.
• Keep Clear: Keep children and pets away during the assembly process.

Assembly Preparation

Before beginning, ensure all parts are present by comparing them with the parts list. Place all components in a cleared area. Do not dispose of packaging materials until assembly is complete.

Assembly Steps

The assembly process involves constructing the frame, roof structure, and final finishing touches. Key steps include:

• Frame Construction: Assemble the posts and cross beams, ensuring the structure is level and square before tightening bolts.
• Roof Assembly: Install rafters, roof panels, and connectors. Do not overtorque bolts when assembling wooden parts to avoid splitting.
• Finishing: Attach curtains, mosquito netting, and final decorative elements.
• Anchoring: Secure the gazebo to the ground using the provided stakes or appropriate anchors for your surface.

Maintenance and Care

• Rust Prevention: Steel components are treated with rust-inhibiting paint. If scratches occur, touch them up immediately with rust-inhibiting paint.
• Cleaning: Surface rust can be removed with a light application of cooking oil or WD-40. Do not use bleach, acid, or abrasive cleaners on the roof or frame.
• Periodic Checks: Regularly check and tighten all nuts and bolts to ensure structural integrity.

Warranty

Sunjoy Group provides a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser, covering defects in workmanship and materials, provided the item was factory-sealed and used for personal, residential purposes. The warranty does not cover commercial use, acts of nature, vandalism, misuse, or improper assembly.
