The Terma CKF mounting bracket is designed for secure installation of towel rails. Ensure you have the correct tools before beginning. The process involves drilling 10mm holes, inserting wall plugs, and securing the bracket base to the wall before attaching the rail.
Tools Required
- PZ1 and PZ3 screwdrivers
- 4mm hex key
- 14mm and 22mm wrenches (required for water and dual fuel versions)
- 10mm drill bit
Installation Steps
1. Drilling and Wall Preparation
Mark the positions for the brackets on the wall. Use a 10mm drill bit to create holes with a depth of 80mm. Insert the provided wall plugs into the holes.
2. Attaching the Bracket Base
Secure the bracket base to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure the base is firmly attached and level before proceeding to mount the towel rail.
3. Mounting the Towel Rail
Attach the towel rail to the installed brackets. Use the 4mm hex key to tighten the locking screws. For water and dual fuel versions, ensure the specific valves or connections marked with an asterisk (*) are tightened using the 14mm or 22mm wrenches as required.
