The Terma ROLO radiator requires specific installation steps to ensure proper water flow and even heat distribution. The most critical component is the threaded plug, which acts as a flow diverter. You will need an 8mm Allen key (not supplied) to install this plug. Always check the orientation stickers on the product to identify the top before mounting.
Orientation and installation
Before mounting the radiator, identify the correct orientation:
- Look for the removable stickers on the product indicating the top.
- For vertical bar orientation (portrait), follow the TOP label for C/Heating.
- For horizontal bar orientation (landscape), follow the TOP label for C/Heating.
Installing the flow diverter plug
The threaded plug must be installed to force water flow through the radiator bars.

- Portrait mounting: The threaded plug must be screwed into the FLOW side. You may choose to have the flow on either the left or right-hand side.
- Landscape mounting: The threaded plug must be screwed into the left-hand side of the radiator.
Use an 8mm Allen key to secure the plug into the radiator.
System commissioning
Because the radiator has a large capacity, it is essential to perform the following steps before final use:
- Bleed the heating system to remove trapped air.
- Check the pressure in the system to ensure it is within the manufacturer's recommended range.
