The Terra 2456W PV is a 23.8-inch high-resolution monitor. This guide provides essential information for installation, operation, and maintenance. Ensure the monitor is placed in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area away from magnetic objects, motors, or heat sources.

First Setup and Installation

Before using the monitor, ensure all components are unpacked and the protective packaging is removed. Follow these steps for a quick installation:

• Power: Connect the power cord to a properly grounded AC outlet and then to the monitor.
• Video Connection: Connect the video cable (DisplayPort, HDMI, or DVI) from your computer to the corresponding input on the monitor. Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting.
• Audio: Connect the audio cable from the computer's audio output to the monitor's audio input.
• Peripherals: You may connect earphones to the earphone output terminal (earphones sold separately).
• Power On: Power on the computer first, then the monitor.
• Configuration: In Windows, right-click the desktop, go to Display Settings >Advanced Display Settings, and set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz.

Stand Adjustments

The monitor features a high-adjustable stand base that allows for ergonomic positioning:

• Tilt Angle: Tilt up to 20° or down to -5°.
• Lift Range: Adjust height up to 130mm.
• Swivel Angle: Rotate 140° left or right.
• Pivot Angle: Rotate 90° to the right.

Controls and OSD Menu

The front panel features buttons to control the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu:

• OSD Menu On/Off: Access or exit the main menu.
• Scroll/Adjust: Use the up/down arrows to navigate menus or adjust settings (Contrast/Brightness).
• Confirm: Select items within the menu.
• Power: Turn the monitor on or off.

The OSD menu allows you to adjust settings such as Input Source, Audio, Colour (including Anti Blue Light), Manual Image Adjustment (Sharpness, Video mode), and Menu settings (OSD position, timeout).

Care and Maintenance

• Always unplug the monitor before cleaning.
• Clean the cabinet with a clean, dry cloth.
• Use non-ammonia based cleaners on the cloth, never directly on the screen.
• Keep the monitor away from magnets, motors, and transformers.

Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check that the power cord is securely connected to both the monitor and a functioning power outlet.
• No Image: Ensure the video cable is tightly secured to the computer and monitor. Adjust brightness settings.
• Wrong Colors: Check the video cable for loose or broken pins. Try connecting to another computer or use the Memory Recall function in the OSD menu to reset to default settings.
