Getting Started

To begin using your radio, extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception. Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the device on. Upon the first power-up, the radio will automatically enter DAB mode and perform a scan for available stations. You can switch between DAB, FM, and Bluetooth modes using the Mode button. Volume is easily adjusted using the dedicated volume knob.

Radio Operation

In DAB mode, the radio automatically scans for stations. You can navigate through the list of received stations using the up and down arrow keys. For FM radio, you can perform an automatic scan or manually tune to specific frequencies. The device allows you to store your favorite stations in memory presets for quick access. Information such as DLS (Dynamic Label Segment), program type, and signal strength can be viewed by pressing the Info/Menu button.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The radio supports Bluetooth playback from external devices. To pair, select the Bluetooth mode on the radio and search for 'RA 7F80R' on your external device. If prompted for a PIN, enter '0000'. Once paired, you can stream audio directly to the radio.

Settings and Alarms

You can set up to two independent alarms with options for buzzer, FM, or DAB ringtones. A sleep timer function is also available, allowing the radio to automatically enter standby mode after a set period (15 to 90 minutes).
